Harpo Foundation has received a generous bequest from artist Ed Levine, including the artist’s former home and studio in South Royalton, Vermont.
It was Ed Levine’s vision to turn this 10-acre property into an artist residency program to provide an opportunity for artists to find inspiration, as he did, in Vermont’s rural landscape. Plans are underway to open Back River Road Residency in 2022 on this property, in this particular landscape. The program will host two residencies each summer and arrange for tours of Ed Levine’s site-specific sculptures.
